I think we went in a similar direction, but I find it interesting that one of the ways I put it was that (human) justice actually begins with/requires forgiveness, because without forgiveness we slide toward the realm of usurping the judgement that should be left to God alone, and in so doing inevitably grasp at vengeance and lose the ability to make the moral/ethical/practical judgements that are necessary for protection, reconciliation etc...<br /><br />Unfortunately, this was also delivered sans notes or manuscript, so I can only summarize.Jody Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14073787540447454650noreply@blogger.com
